Apologies for the delay in writing up this event. A smaller crowd than usual, but still 9 players to make for a fulfilling evening. Paul J, Marcus and James were in for the long haul with a game of Through the Ages on the medium difficulty setting. They just about managed to squeeze it into the allowed time and James managed to win by just 1 point! How close is that? Paul, James H, Laura, Nathan and Steve and I occupied the other table, playing Elder Sign initially. It's been a while since this has seen the table, but it's a fun and easy to play game set in the Lovecraft universe. Fantasy Light Games always make interesting and quality components and this is no exception. We worked well as a team and managed to close the gates before the Ancient One came through. It felt relatively easy, but there's an element of luck that means each game is never the same and I think we just played it well together. We then moved on to quick-fire party game Spyfall. Those that know me won't be surprised to find out I didn't keep my round as spy a secret for long, so everyone won that one. Laura won two subsequent rounds and Nathan won a round as well. April's monthly event will be on us soon and it's not long until International Tabletop Day - see you a lot in April Matt
